Heat embossing is so easy, just stamp your required image, sprinkle your chosen Embossing Powders, and shake off any excess and heat. This will create a raised image which you can use in many ways. Embossing Powders are available in many different types and perfect for card making. Tap off excess & heat up over a light bulb, toaster or use a heat gun until melted. These powders have the characteristic, when heated of swelling slightly and fusing to form a raised glossy surface very similar to that produced by embossing. The powder is itself colourless so the embossed area takes the colour of the ink. Powders are also available which contain gold, silver, or bronze ingredients.
